Wine Tastings December 13-16
Hi Wine Explorers! We’re well into December now and Christmas is right around the corner. With that in mind, our tastings this week spotlight wines at various price points that will work for the different needs around the holidays: gifts, Christmas dinner, parties, etc.
Thursday Nikki pours five wines from five countries:
- Hofstatter Pinot Grigio (Italy)-our favorite!
- Hayes Ranch Cabernet (California)
- Don David El Esteco Malbec (Argentina)- one of Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of the Year for 2018!
- Oxford Landing Chardonnay (Australia)-90 point Chardonnay for under $10!
- Trignon Cotes du Rhone (France)
Friday Jessica returns with a great line-up:
- Smith and Hook Cabernet (California)
- Val Llach Priorat (Spain)-perfect with your Holiday Filet or Roast!
- Fernlands Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand)
- Sella and Mosca “La Cala” Vermentino (Italy)
- Raeburn Chardonnay (California)-90 point Russian River Valley Chardonnay
Saturday Zak brings a fantastic mix of wines!
- Terlano Pinot Bianco (Italy)-a customer favorite!
- Gaillard St Joseph (France)-100% Syrah from the Rhone Valley, stunning and perfect with the Holiday meal
- Arrowflite Chardonnay (California)
- Eagle Glen Cabernet (California) -a 92 point Napa Cabernet for under 30!
- Treveri Blanc de Noirs (Washington)
And finally on Sunday we’ll have a mix of our Top 10 Wines for the Holidays…but with the addition of ONE special wine that YOU can vote for! Check our Facebook page to vote for which special wine you’d like us to pour; Cakebread Cabernet or Banfi Brunello di Montalcino. We’ll collect votes through Friday and then announce which one won!
